Everything usemint does with a coin’s creator fees, step by step.
Launch or register a pump.fun coin. Follow what it collects, what each recipient has earned, and every $MINT buyback.
What usemint does
A way to launch a pump.fun coin whose creator fees are shared between the people you choose.
Instead of one creator wallet, name up to five X accounts and give each a percentage. You review the whole split before anything is signed.
Connect a Solana wallet, build the split and create the coin on pump.fun. Its fee sharing names the usemint fee wallet as the only shareholder; from there the sweep collects the fees, credits every recipient and buys $MINT.
Create your token
A name, a ticker and an image, plus optional details.
Name (up to 32 characters), ticker (1–10 letters or numbers) and a PNG, JPG or WebP image are required. A description and an X link are optional. The website field is filled in for you: it links to the coin’s page here.
Set an optional dev buy in SOL, or leave it at zero. It happens in the same transaction that creates the coin, at the same curve price as any first buyer. One creator wallet; no bundles.
Review launch checks the draft, looks every recipient up on X again and opens a summary. Launch on pump.fun asks your wallet for one confirmation that creates the coin and sets its fee sharing to usemint (as a single transaction, or two signed together). Your wallet pays the dev buy and the Solana network fees. There is no launch fee.
How the fees move
Creator fees are collected automatically to the usemint fee wallet.
pump.fun charges a creator fee on every trade and keeps it in the coin’s vault. Fee sharing lets a creator name the shareholders of that vault once; pump.fun then locks the list. Anyone can trigger a distribution, and the fees go to the shareholders.
The sweep runs every 10 seconds. It reads every coin’s vault and distributes it once the amount is worth a transaction. Each collection is split on the spot: 5% buys $MINT, 95% is credited to the coin’s recipients by their shares. Every collection, allocation and claim is a row you can trace back to its transaction.
The coin stays yours: you keep every token you hold and can trade it anywhere.
Register a coin you already launched
Any pump.fun coin, as long as you created it.
Paste the mint address on the Existing coin tab. usemint reads the coin from the chain, shows its name and picture and checks who created it. Connect that wallet, choose the recipients and sign one transaction that sets the fee sharing to usemint.
A coin whose fee sharing was already set elsewhere cannot move: pump.fun allows one change. Fees that built up before registration stay in the creator’s own vault and are not part of the split.
Splitting the fees
One to five X accounts, with shares that add up to 100%.
Add between one and five different X handles; a profile link works too. Each share must be above zero and all of them must total exactly 100%, with up to two decimals. Split evenly divides the pool and gives any leftover hundredth of a percent to the first people, so the total stays exact.
Every handle is looked up on X and stored with the account’s numeric id. A later username change never sends a payout somewhere else, and nobody can claim by taking an old handle. The percentages are shares of the recipients’ pool, not of the token supply.
Example allocation
c@creator50%
d@designer30%
c@community20%
Claims and payments
Recipients claim with the X account named in the split.
On Claim fees, a recipient signs in with X, sees what every coin has earned them and sends the balance to a Solana wallet. The login proves the X account; the numeric X id has to match the one stored with the split. The smallest claim is 0.0100 SOL, so network costs stay a small part of every payout.
A claim is paid in SOL from the fee wallet in one transfer. Payment history lists every claim as pending until the transfer confirms, then completed with its transaction. Total paid out counts completed claims only; fees earned is the live sum of every coin’s creator fees.
$MINT buybacks
5% of every coin’s fees, and all of $MINT’s own, buy $MINT.
Buys run on the sweep from the fee wallet, on pump.fun while $MINT is on its bonding curve and on PumpSwap after it graduates. Only the buyback share of collected fees is spent; recipients’ balances are never touched. Every buy is listed on the $MINT page with its transaction.
Your draft stays with you
Drafts are saved in this browser.
The text fields and your split are kept in this browser’s local storage. The image stays in memory for the session and has to be chosen again after a reload.
Nothing is uploaded until you launch. Launching stores the image and the token metadata on usemint so pump.fun and wallets can show them. Editing the split reserves no name and moves no funds.
